Ben Carlisle B.Sc., B.Arch., RIBA.

 

Ben has been in architectural practice in Somerset for over twenty years and is familiar with all aspects of the building process.  He is committed to ensuring that the practice works in partnership with all parties involved in the construction process in order that projects are effectively managed in terms of resources and finance.  He believes that sharing ideas and open communication is fundamental to realising good design.

 

John Jessop B.Arch., M.Sc., RIBA


John trained and worked in Scotland and London and brought his experience in a range of building types and computer aided design.  He has a keen interest in design theory and practice which is reflected in his work in the north, university teaching, and acting as a consultant to computer modelling research projects.  John believes that whilst grand designs give us inspiration, it is the everyday things that affect us most.

 


Josephine De Boynes  RIBA 

                

Jo has a particular interest in traditional building techniques and the resulting conflicts that arise in modern architecture and technology.  After qualifying in Paris, she spent several years researching, practicing, and teaching traditional building techniques in France.  Since joining the practice and assimilating the peculiarities of our construction methods she has brought a fresh approach to design development.

 

Rachael Grenter  BSc

 

Having completed her first three years of architectural studies, Rachael has joined us to gain experience of design practice.  She brings a vital and open mind which animates and invigorates the office.

Helen and Sue provide the highly valued administrative support which allows the remainder of the team to concentrate on effective design solutions.
